About Us

Welcome to British Wildlife Gifts, beautiful gifts that raise money for wildlife conservation organisations and rescue centres.

When you purchase a product from British Wildlife Gifts, simply choose the amount you would like to donate, and the charity you would like to donate it to, from the drop down menu.  Your item will then be carefully packaged with a gift tag to say how much was donated and to which charity.

We keep our prices below the recommended retail price so that you can add your donation amount on top but without paying too much.  This way the charities benefit with each purchase but you do not have to pay too much more yourself.

Our aim is to help raise funds for conservation groups and organisations  -  leaving them free to get on with the important job of conservation.

Charities and Organisations

Donations from every sale go to charities and organisations who are working to conserve UK native wildlife. You can see a full list of the charities we support here

When a purchase is made through our website, the customer has a choice of which charity to donate to and their donation amount.

If you are a conservation group or organsation who would like to benefit from donations from our products please get in touch.

Founder - Jo Richards

British Wildlife Gifts has been created by Jo Richards, a long time volunteer in amphibian and reptile conservation having served on the committees of the Kent Reptile and Amphibian Group as Hon. Publicity, Events and Education Officer for 5 years and then on the Amphibian and Reptile Groups of the UK (ARGUK) Co-ordinating Panel as Publicity Officer since January 2012.

Jo realised that not all conservation groups have the time, money and resources to concentrate on fund raising and decided to try and use her work and voluntary experiences to help.

Jo is passionate about promoting conservation of native amphibians and reptiles and encouraging people to record their sightings to help conservation.  This applies, of course, to ALL species, hence creating British Wildlife Gifts.

Jo gained a BSc (Hons) Environmental Science in which her dissertation was on Great crested newts and studied for an MSc in Natural Resources; Sustainable Environmental Management.
